Компания Skype Limited объявляет о выпуске бета-версии Skype 2.5. Огромный список изменений включает как новые особенности, так и исправления разнообразных ошибок. Основное: отправка SMS; новый мастер набора и новые методы оплаты (для звонков на обычные телефоны); новые возможности общих групп позволяют совместно использовать записные книжки, знакомить друзей, а также многое другое; виртуальная гостиная для друзей при помощи бесплатной конференц-связи и группового чата; набор номеров из контактов Outlook и т. п.
